We do this by creating beautiful and comfortable Australian Merino active and liesurewear and now by creating motivational and inspirational events as well!

I have envisioned an event like this since Lana Vello's inception. The untouched beauty of Mt Bakewell and the most magical time of day combined for an amazing start to the weekend for a number of York residents.

And wow what an amazing morning!

It started with a dark ride up an interesting road to reach the top of Mt Bakewell. Let's be honest, you don't get incredible views without an interesting journey.

Everyone arrived just in time to soak in the amazing view of town with the days first light before starting the yoga practice.

Claire from Working Class Wellness did a magnificent job creating a relaxing, revitalising and invigorating practice to awaken our bodies ready for the day ahead and refresh and cleanse our minds from the busy week that was.

The universe was definitely on our side with perfect weather and the sun even breaking over the horizon as we rose in the sun salutation.

What a moment that was.

The practice finished with the most peaceful shavasana you could imagine and the hypnotic sound bowl combined with a gentle breeze to transport everyone from the chaos of town.

Brekky time! Everyone relaxed on their mats as we served some simple overnight oats with delicious poached apple, raspberry, honey and almonds. And don't forget the coffee!

Everyone mingled, taking in the views in the most relaxed state, it really was beautiful to see.
